Prize Package for High Point Dogs from the 2015-16 NBPPA Hunts to be Awarded at the NBPPA Open in April 2017
Each Category Winner will receive:
In order to receive the points at a NBPPA hunt
Points will be awarded in the following order:
Whichever category your dog receives points in the first time each year is the category the dog’s points will be applied to for the entire year even though the dog might advance to a Champion or a Grand Champion class in UKC. There will be one winner from each class Registered, Champion, and Grand Champion
Points to be accrued from January 1st through December 31, 2017 with run off to occur in the spring of 2018.
The top 10 dogs in each category will qualify for the Run off. In the event of a tie, all dogs tied for tenth place will go to the run off. The Run off will be held on a date in the spring at the club that hard the largest state hunt in the year prior. The dogs will run in the classes they are qualified in.
NBPPA STATE HUNT PRIZE PACKAGE
Each state that holds 6 NBPPA hunts in a calender year are eligible for a state hunt prize package. The package consists of three prizes. Sportdog 3225 Training System, Sportdog extra shocking collar, and an Evan's Custom Dog House.
The prizes are given to the high scoring dog of EACH CATEGORY! If there is not enough dogs for all 3 categories. then the prizes are to be returned to NBPPA.
High Point dog gets first choice and second high point dog gets second choice.
To be eligible for the prize package you must be a paid NBPPA member before the dogs go to the field.
Point system is as follows:
Tie breaker if there is a tie in total points for high scoring dog:

- One year subscription to the American Beagler
- Custom Plaque including photo

- You must be a member before you go to the field
- You must be a cast winner
- Points earned at time of first placing is what division your dog will remain in.
- Points follow dog even if dog changes classes
- Ex: you start in registered class and move up to grand class within the year all the dogs points will go to the registered class. You do not lose points if you change classes.
